TNEA Counselling 2024 Application submission is on till 6 June 2024 at ‘https://www.tneaonline.org/’ Registration commenced on 6 May 2024.
This is about graduate engineering (BTech) and architecture (BArch) admission in colleges located in Tamil Nadu.
Students who wish to join BTech or BArch courses in colleges in Tamil Nadu can submit TNEA Counselling 2024 Application.
Admission into courses would be done based on the scores obtained in class 12 marks.
The last date to upload documents is 12 June 2024. Those who have submitted TNEA Counselling 2024 Application can upload documents before 12 June 2024.
Random number would be allotted on 12 June 2024. Those who have submitted TNEA Counselling 2024 application can get their certificates verified at TFCs from 13 to 30 June 2024.
The rank list will be published on 10 July 2024 and grievance redressal will be done from 11 to 20 July 2024.
The dates for counselling will be informed in due course in accordance with AICTE’s academic schedule.
Who can submit TNEA Counselling 2024 Application?
Candidates who have completed plus two from a recognized educational institution can submit TNEA Counselling 2024 application. The subjects in plus two must be maths, physics and chemistry.
Those who are aiming for biology oriented engineering courses must have studied plus two with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects if they are to submit TNEA Counselling 2024 application.
Applicants must be native of Tamil Nadu, children of central government employees can also apply, however, the parents or guardians of these children must have been serving in Tamil Nadu for the past five years.
What is TNEA Counselling 2024 Application?
The full name is Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Counselling (TNEA or TNEA Counselling).
This is the process through which admissions are provided into graduate engineering or architecture courses in colleges in Tamil Nadu.
This is conducted every year and TNEA Counselling 2024 is meant to be conducted this year.
TNEA Counselling Application submission is nothing but applying for the process.
TNEA Counselling 2024 Application is applying for the counselling process to be held this year.
Candidates who submit applications can get their documents verified at the TFC (TNEA Facilitation Centers) online.
A rank list list would be brought out containing the names of the candidates who are shortlisted.
Those who are in the rank list can take part in choice filling and counselling using the credentials they created during the initial registration process.
Candidates have to pay the initial deposit and then take up choice filling. Candidates of OC/OC/BC/BCM/MBC have to pay Rs 5000 and those from SC/SCA/ST have to pay Rs 1000.
Choice Filling, Locking, Confirmation of Tentative Allotment and Downloading of Final Allotment can be done in Home or anywhere in addition to TFC by the candidate.
Candidates can accept the seat they have been sanctioned in the counselling and join the institution. Those wishing to wait for higher allotment can exercise the option of upward movement.

They must report to the nearest TFC, on or before the date specified in the allotment order and pay the necessary fees for upward movement and confirmation of previous allotment.
Applicants can also decline the allotted seat and choose to get allotted in higher order. Those who are not satisfied with the allotted seat and then not willing to wait for upward movement can go for next round.

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the webpage to download.
2A. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can read information and then click the button Click here for BE/BTech Registration to apply for engineering.
2B. They can click the button Click here for B.Arch Registration to apply for architecture.
3A. Clicking the button for engineering will open another webpage with URL ‘https://www.tneaonline.org/user/register’
3B. Clicking the button for architecture will open another webpage with URL ‘https://barch.tneaonline.org/’ As the page opens they have to press Click here for B.Arch New Registration
3C. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://barch.tneaonline.org/user/register’
4. After the webpage with above URL opens, they have to register and create an account.
5. After the account is created, candidates can login and start filling TNEA Counselling 2024 application for their respective courses.
