Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please review our cancellation and refund terms before purchasing any services.
This Cancellation and Refund Policy is part of the Terms and Conditions of CollegeChalo (www.collegechalo.com), operated by Phoenix360 Solutions Pvt. Ltd., having its registered office at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. By purchasing any counseling or guidance service on the Platform, you agree to be bound by this policy.
1. Services Covered
This policy applies to all paid services offered on the Platform, including but not limited to college admission counseling, career guidance sessions, profile evaluation, application assistance, and any other advisory or mentoring services (collectively, "Services").
2. Cancellation by the User
You may request cancellation of a purchased Service by writing to us at support@collegechalo.com within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of payment ("Cooling-Off Period"), subject to the conditions below.
If no counseling session has been delivered or commenced during the Cooling-Off Period, you are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee of up to 5% of the total amount paid or ₹500, whichever is lower.
If one or more counseling sessions have already been delivered during the Cooling-Off Period, the refund amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis — the fee for sessions already consumed (at the per-session rate) will be deducted from the total amount paid, along with the processing fee mentioned above.
No cancellation or refund requests will be entertained after the expiry of the 14-day Cooling-Off Period.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds shall not be granted in the following circumstances:
- The Cooling-Off Period of 14 days has lapsed.
- The user has fully consumed or completed all counseling sessions included in the purchased plan.
- The user has accessed or downloaded any proprietary reports, college lists, or personalized documents generated as part of the Service.
- The user has violated the Terms and Conditions, resulting in suspension or termination of access.
- Dissatisfaction with a counseling recommendation or college admission outcome, as CollegeChalo provides advisory services only and does not guarantee admission to any institution.
4. Cancellation by CollegeChalo
CollegeChalo reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Service due to counselor unavailability, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered either a rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time or a full refund at your discretion.
If CollegeChalo discontinues a Service before its completion, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the undelivered portion of the Service.
5. How to Request a Cancellation/Refund
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@collegechalo.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request – [Order ID]".
The request must include:
- Your registered name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Order/transaction ID
- Date of purchase
- Reason for cancellation
6. Refund Processing
Once a valid refund request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. The actual time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider and is beyond CollegeChalo's control.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting CollegeChalo, we reserve the right to suspend your account and pursue the outstanding amount. We encourage you to reach out to us first so we can resolve the matter directly.
8. Changes to This Policy
CollegeChalo reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
