The last date to apply has been extended from its earlier 25 April 2024, candidates submitting AP LAWCET 2024 application on or before 25 April need not pay the late fee.
This is about the exam to be taken for admission into graduate law courses in colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
Notification in connection with AP LAWCET Application Submission was released on 22 March 2024.
Exam is conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council For Higher Education (APSCHE).
AP LAWCET 2024 Application Submission schedule
AP LAWCET 2024 Application Submission started on 26 March 2024 and last date to apply without any late fee payment is 25 April 2024. This has been extended to 4 May 2024.
Students can submit AP LAWCET 2024 Application from 5 to 11 May 2024 on payment of Rs 500 as late fee. They can apply for the exam from 12 to 18 May 2024 on the payment of Rs 1000 as late fee.
AP LAWCET 2024 Application can be submitted 19 to 25 May 2024 on payment of Rs 2000 as late fee. Those who pay a late fee of Rs 3000 can submit AP LAWCET 2024 Application from 26 to 29 May 2024.
Corrections in the AP LAWCET 2024 Application forms submitted can be done from 30 May to 1 June 2024. Hall tickets will be available for download from 3 June 2024 onwards.
Exam will be held on 9 June 2024 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. Preliminary key will be out on 10 June 2024 and objections on preliminary key will be accepted from 11 to 12 June 2024.
What is AP LAWCET 2024 Exam?
The full name of AP LAWCET is Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level exam conducted once a year. AP LAWCET 2024 is meant to be held in 2024.
AP LAWCET 2024 is conducted in online mode and answers have to be registered on a computer screen provided at the test center. The test has to be passed with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next process.
Post passing the exams, candidates have to visit the websites of various participating institutions and know the schedule for submitting applications for admissions.

Students willing to submit AP LAWCET 2024 Application for studying 5 year law courses must have passed plus two from a recognized education institution. The plus two can be from any stream.
Those keen on LLB course must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Students who have appeared for the final exams of their qualifying degree and are waiting for the results or are about to appear for final exams can also submit AP LAWCET 2024 Application.
However, they have to pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission process commencement.

4. Once the webpage is available, applicants for LAWCET to click the required link and pay the registration fee and obtain the confirmation number.
5. Once the confirmation number is obtained, candidates can click the link for filling out the AP LAWCET 2024 Application form and submit it.
6. Post submission, candidates can obtain a confirmation message indicating successful submission. Once obtained, applicants can download it and take a printout of it.

How to download hall ticket?
Candidates who have successfully AP LAWCET 2024 application submission can alone download the hall ticket for the exam from the official website which can be accessed at ‘https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET/LAWCET/LAWCET_HomePage.aspx’
Process to obtain hall ticket is mentioned below for the sake of the students:
1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and the website should be allowed to download.
2. Once the webpage is available, candidates can click the link for the hall ticket and then enter their username and password and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.
3. The admit card can be downloaded and then a printout of it has to be taken. Applicants have to appear for the exam at the designated test center with the hall ticket.
After the exam
Students have to view the results for the exam, they can visit the official website of the exam at the appropriate time and log in using the credentials they created while submitting AP LAWCET 2024 application.
Post login, the students can view their scorecards. Those who have passed the exam with the required qualifying marks can apply for admission into courses of their choice.
