National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, established in 1964 as a Regional Engineering College, is widely regarded as the top-ranked NIT in India and consistently ranked among the top 10 engineering institutions in the country by NIRF. Located on a sprawling 800-acre campus in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, NIT Trichy offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across 15 academic departments spanning engineering, science, management, and architecture.
