WBJEE counselling is held for undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and architecture at various colleges, institutions, and universities throughout West Bengal. Registration, preference selection, seat allocation results, acceptance fee payment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college are all part of the counselling process.

Students will be assigned colleges and courses depending on their preferences, WBJEE scores, and availability of seats. The seat matrix for WBJEE 2024 is published on the board’s official website. WBJEE 2024 qualifying applicants can register and make choices by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The application deadline for WBJEE counselling 2024 is July 16.
There will be three rounds of WBJEE counseling 2024: allotment, upgrade, and mop-up. Candidates can register for the first round and the mop-up round. The counselling charge is Rs 500.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling Guidelines and Registration
Candidates must submit all relevant personal information, academic information, bank account information (in the event of a refund), address, and so on. Candidates must supply their application or roll number, as well as the academic information listed below.
- Passing status, total marks, and earned marks in English in Class 10.
- Passing status, overall complete scores, and total marks achieved in Class 12
- Passing status, total marks, and obtained marks in Class 12 physics, mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, biology, computer science, computer application, electronics or information technology, informatics, technical vocational subject, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, entrepreneurship, and English.
- If a subject does not apply to an applicant, he or she might choose “NA”.
Choice-filling
- After paying the registration cost and submitting academic scores, the candidate can view all institutes and courses that meet his or her eligibility criteria using the inputs supplied.
After selecting institutes and courses, the candidate will arrange his or her options in order of priority. - To facilitate the search, the options are listed in alphabetical order. Candidates can also look for details by institute and branch.
- TFW seats are displayed as separate choices for each institute and branch, where applicable. For example, if a candidate is willing to accept either a TFW or a Non-TFW seat in a specific institute or branch, he or she must choose both. The candidate will only be assigned the type of seat chosen.
- Candidates are advised to choose at least 20 options. They can choose to upgrade after allotment.
