Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling provisional rank list is released and candidates can access them on the official website of Selection Committee of Directorate of Medical Education and Research.
The provisional rank list can be accessed by students from the website ‘https://tnmedicalselection.net/’ This is in connection with MBBS and BDS admissions for academic year 2023-24.
Online application for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling began on 28 June 2023 and went on till 12 July 2023.
The initial last date to register was 10 July and that was extended to 12 July 2023 keeping in view the request received from many candidates to extend the last date to apply for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling.
Candidates were able to register for TN NEET UG 2023 counselling till 5 PM on 12 July 2023. This was good news for the students who were looking forward to joining the medical courses.
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Tamil Nadu is conducting the Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling.

It is estimated that there are about 11,275 MBBS seats in the state and 5275 are in government medical colleges and over 6000 seats are in private educational institutions.
It is interesting to note that NEET UG 2023 was held on 7 May 2023 and 13 June 2023 was when the result was released. Over 20 lakh students appeared for the exam.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 counselling which is happening now will consider the scores in NEET UG 2023 for providing admission into undergraduate medical courses.
Important dates for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling
The notification for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling was issued on 27 June 2023. The submission of online applications for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling began on 28 June 2023.
The last date to apply was 5 PM on 12 July 2023. The rank list was released on 17 July 2023. The dates for the rest of the process would be informed in due course.

1. The above URL has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the webpage to download.
