Schools, colleges in Delhi closed till 31 March

The issue of Corona virus seems to have been causing concern across the nation, even the national capital appears to have not been spared in this regard. This seems to be true as schools, colleges in Delhi will remain closed till 31 March owing to Corona virus issue.

Sources say this is being done to counter the Corona virus. Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is said to have made an announcement in this regard. Schools and colleges where exams are not being conducted are also said to remain closed. This measure seems to have been taken keeping in view the concerns caused by Coronavirus. The number of people affected by the virus is said to have reached 73.

Even cinema halls are said to remain closed till 31 March. Schools, colleges and cinema halls are places where large people are said to gather, prevention of gathering of large number of people at a single place may help in regulating the spread of corona virus. It must be noted that corona virus was declared a pandemic by World Health Organisation (WHO) and various measures are being taken to help prevent the virus from spreading. Even visas for tourists arriving here are said to have been stopped.

Sources further say, Indian who are returning from COVID 19 countries namely China, Italy, Korea, France and Germany will be the point of focus. Our countrymen coming from these nations are going to be quarantined for a period of two weeks.
