Eligibility

The students who have are about to complete their degree in 2019-2020 academic year can also apply, however, they have to produce their mark sheets by the time of admission. Reservation for SC, ST and OBC will be provided as per the norms.

Candidates must also have a good score in Joint Entrance Screening Test 2020 (JEST 2020) or CSIR UGC NET for JRF (Physics) or GRE (Physics) or GATE (Physics/Mathematics)

Stipend
Candidates selected have to undergo a coursework in the first year and medium of instruction will be english. Research students will be registered for a PhD in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi as soon they complete their course work.

Students will be paid an amount of Rs 31,000 as scholarship for first two years. The the next three years they will be paid a scholarship of Rs 35,000 for next three years if progress of students is satisfactory. They are also paid an amount of Rs 5,000 per annum as a book grant for four years.
