It is about admission into various courses offered at Lovely Professional University (LPU).
Some of the courses for which passing LPUNEST is required is BTech, BBA, MBA, BDes, MDes, BSc, MSc and so on. Scores earned in the exam are also used to provide scholarship for studying various courses in the institution.
About LPUNEST 2025
The name of the exam is Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test aka LPUNEST, it is an institutional level exam conducted by LPU every year.
LPUNEST 2025 is meant to be conducted this year (2025). Exam is conducted in online mode where questions have to be answered on a computer screen at the designated test center.
Test is also conducted in remote proctored online mode, where candidates can write the test on a computer screen from anywhere.
Questions in the exam depend upon the subject in which the candidate is trying to seek admission. Questions will be based on class 12 lessons if seeking admission in UG courses.
Those seeking admission in PG programs have to answer questions from graduate level lessons of their respective subject in which, they wish to pursue post graduation.

LPUNEST 2025 application submission commenced on 26 January 2025 and will go on till 25 March 2025. LPUNEST 2025 application submission is nothing but applying for the exam.
Slot booking for the online exam will start from 25 February 2025 onwards.
The dates for conducting the test are 15 to 31 March (Test Centre based exam) 15 February to 31 March (Remotely Proctored exam).

Who can take up LPUNEST 2025 application submission?
Students who have passed plus two from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India can take up LPUNEST 2025 application submission.
Those aiming for post graduation must have passed graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized educational institution to be eligible for LPUNEST 2025 application submission.
Even candidates who have appeared for their final exams of their qualifying degree and are waiting for the results can also take up LPUNEST 2025 application submission.
These people however have to pass the exam and provide a proof for it by the time the admission commences.

- Once the website is ready, candidates have to fill the application form and tick the box and press Register to create an account with username and password.
- After creating the account, one can come back to the same webpage with URL ‘https://admission.lpu.in/’
- After coming back to the webpage they can press Login and then enter and start filling up LPUNEST 2025 application, that is filling the application form.

The method of selection
Candidates who have taken up LPUNEST 2025 application submission have to appear for the exam and pass it with required qualifying marks.
Those who pass the exam can take part in the next part of the admission process which involves counselling.
For certain other courses, after passing the exam, they may have to take part in group discussion (GD) and interview (PI – Personal Interview) after passing the entrance test.
Selection will be done based on performance in entrance test, qualifying exam, GD, PI, choice of course by candidate and vacancies available in that course.
Candidates who have obtained the seat can confirm their acceptance and join the institution for classes.
Those who pass national-level exams like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, CAT, CLAT, NATA are likely exempted from appearing for LPUNEST.
These candidates can submit LPUNEST 2025 application and then appear for the next phase of the admission process as they are exempted from taking up LPUNEST.
