JoSAA 2024 Counselling Details
- Registration Link: The JoSAA Counselling 2024 registration link will be updated on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
- Counselling Rounds: JoSAA 2024 counselling will be conducted in six rounds for seat allotment.
- Eligibility: Only candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam will be eligible to participate in JoSAA 2024 counselling.
- Authority: The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) established JoSAA to manage and regulate joint seat allocation for admissions to over 100 institutes.

Eligibility Criteria for JoSAA 2024 Counselling
To participate in JoSAA Counselling 2024, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria:
- Criterion I: Must have qualified JEE Advanced 2024 for academic programs (excluding preparatory courses) at IITs and ISM, and satisfy the performance criteria in Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
- Criterion II: Must have qualified JEE Advanced 2024 for preparatory courses at IITs and ISM, and satisfy the performance criteria in Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
- Criterion III: Must have obtained a rank in JEE Main 2024 Paper-1 for BE/BTech Programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs. Should have passed Class XII (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
- Criterion IV: Must have obtained a rank in JEE Main 2024 Paper-2 for BArch/BPlanning programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs. Should have Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII (or equivalent) examination and passed each subject individually.
