
JEE Main April 2020 Exam will now be held on some other date instead of their earlier planned dates of 5,7,9 and 11 April. According to a notification issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts the exam the new dates for JEE Main will be announced on 31 March.

The notification says, the action has been taken in pursuance of MHRD letter no. Secy (HE)/MHRD/2020 dated 18 March. Keeping this development in mind, applicants of JEE Main April 2020 have to remember that the halltickets for the exam will also be issued on new dates.

Admits cards were supposed to be made available on 20 March, but now keeping the postponement in view, the same will be made accessible after 31 March only.
NAT authorities have mentioned in the notification that parents, students who have applied for the exam have to regularly logon to websites ‘jeemain.nta.nic.in’ and ‘www.nta.ac.in’ for availing updates about the exam.
On the other hand, applicants are being informed individually through their mobile number, email ids also. Applicants can also contact at ‘0120-6895200’ for further clarification.
Sources further say, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD, Government of India) is said to have taken the decision keeping in view the coronavirus scare that is bothering the nation currently.
Travelling to exam centres could put the candidates to risk of incurring health related problems, so the decision to conduct the well-known exam at a later date is said to have been taken.

Students can continue preparation staying in their homes itself, online tutorials, mock tests which are available on the internet can be used to effectively prepare for the exam.
