Point to remember

Applicants have to remember that they are advised to choose the topics for research very wisely. They must pick the topics they have a strong liking and good knowledge. This will motivate them to give their best in their research work. Exceptionally bright students and full-time (institute fellows) will be admitted directly without written test into the Ph.D. programme.

Candidates taking admissions directly must be B.Tech. from the IITs and should have graduated within the last five years, with a degree in the respective discipline with a CPI/CGPA of 8/10 and above. Applicants must also be
masters from the IITs/IISc, graduated within the last five years, with a degree in the respective discipline with a CPI/CGPA of 8.5/10 and above.
