
IIT Delhi starts two new courses – There is happy news for the students who are willing to study new courses, thanks to Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi). The prestigious educational institution is said to have launched two new study programmes at the masters level.

The two new programmes are MSc (Cognitive Science) and MSc (Economics). Sources say, the new courses will be offered under the aegis of Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of IIT Delhi, there will be 25 seats in both the courses. Sources further say, students into these courses will be taken based on their performance in the entrance test which will be of all India level. The entrance test is said to be conducted on 3 May.

The details like availability of application, minimum pass mark requirement in the qualifying exam will be made available soon. MSc Economics programme will aim to make students know about the advanced training in economics with a focus on quantitative skills. The course will familiarise the students with developmental challenges in India.
The eligibility to study this course is a pass in BA, BSc, BCom, BTech or any degree equal to these. MSc in Cognitive Science is said to be a course of interdisciplinary in nature with its subject matter involving various other fields like psychology, linguistics, artificial intelligence. Candidates who have completed any degree which is atleast three years in duration can apply for the course.
