IISER IAT 2025 application submission is open till 15 April 2025 at ‘https://iiseradmission.in/’ Application submission started on 10 March 2025.
Corrections in the application can be done from 21 to 22 April 2025, hall ticket will be available for download from 15 May 2025 onwards.
This test is for those who wish to take up 5-year BS-MS programs, 5-Year BS-MS at all IISERs, 5-Year BS-MS in Computational and Data Sciences at IISER Kolkata, 4-Year BS in Economic Sciences at IISER Bhopal, 4-Year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences at IISER Tirupati, 4-Year B.Tech. (in Chemical Engineering, Data Science & Engineering and
Electrical Engineering & Computer Science) at IISER Bhopal.
Students who take up IISER IAT 2025 application submission successfully can only download hall tickets for the exam.
The exam will be conducted on 25 May 2025 and answer keys will be displayed on May 25, 2025 (after the IAT 2025).
Last date for document upload is June 16, 2025.
What is IISER IAT 2025?
The full name is the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test.
It is known as IISER IAT in the shorter version, it is a national-level exam conducted by one of the IISERs.
IISERs are located in various parts of India.
The exam is conducted in online mode and questions related to biology, physics, chemistry and maths are asked in the test.
Who can take up IISER IAT 2025 application submission?
Students who have passed plus two from a recognized educational institution. Can take up IISER IAT 2025 application submission.
Subjects in the plus two must be from the science stream – maths/biology, physics and chemistry.
Candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.
Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.
The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IISER IAT 2025 Application Form under “Please upload copy of document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You’ll need to produce original when necessary)”.
For admissions to the following programs, candidates must have Mathematics during their Class XII (or equivalent): 5-year BS-MS in Computational and Data Sciences program at IISER Kolkata, 4-year B. Tech. program at IISER Bhopal, 4-year BS in Economic Sciences program at IISER Bhopal and 4-year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences program at IISER Tirupati.
IISER IAT 2025 application fee
The application fee is to be paid by the applicant during the submission of the IISER IAT 2025 application form. The application portal shall open on March 10, 2025.

- Rs. 2,000/- for candidates applying under General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories.

- Rs. 1,000/- for candidates applying under persons with disabilities (PwD), persons registered as Kashmiri Migrants/Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) and SC/ST category.
- Rs. 12,000/- for candidates applying under Foreign National category.
How to take up IISER IAT 2025 application submission?
The process to take up IISER IAT 2025 application submission is online. The official website has to be visited to submit applications. URL to access the official website is ‘https://iiseradmission.in/‘
- The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and then it should be allowed to download.
- Once the webpage is available, candidates can click Apply For IAT 2025 under Aptitude Test menu.
- This will open another webpage with URL ‘https://iiseradmission.in/examination/apply.html’
- Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click registration button and create an account with username and password.
- After the account is created, candidates can login and start filling IISER IAT 2025 application.
- Registration fee has to be paid and the application form has to be submitted.
- Post submission confirmation, candidates can download the confirmation and take a print out.
Hall ticket
The procedure to download a hall ticket is online. The official website of the exam has to be visited to do the same. URL for the official website is ‘https://iiseradmission.in/’
- The above address is to be typed into the browser and the website must be allowed to download.
- Once the webpage is available, candidates can click the link for the admit card.
- Post-clicking, the required information is to be provided and submitted.
- Post submission, the hall ticket will be appearing on the screen.
- Candidates can download it and take a printout of it.
After the exam
Students who have passed IISER IAT 2025 with the required qualifying marks can appear for further process.
The process that lies ahead comprises counselling and document verification.
Those who get a seat during the counselling can accept and pay the fees and join the course.
