The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, CG PEB, has announced the exam date for the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test, CG PET 2025. According to the official schedule, the CG PET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 8. The detailed schedule for CG PET 2025 is yet to be announced.
The CG PET 2025 registration has not yet begun. Candidates can fill up the CG PET 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Last year, the CG PET registration began in March and ended in April. Last year, the CG PET exam was conducted on June 13. The CG PET 2024 counselling process was held in August.
Candidates will be charged an application fee for the completion of the registration process. General category candidates are required to pay Rs 200. Candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) have to pay the application fee of Rs 150. Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) have to pay the application fee of Rs 100. CG PET 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a glance at below CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria;
- Students who study and appear in entrance through CG PET 2024 should have cleared their class 12th or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and either Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects.
- General category students: Mark sheet of 45 % marks in 12th.
- Reserved category students: Mark sheet of 45 % marks in 12th.
- The candidates in the reserved category must have passed Class 12 with 40%.
- The candidates in the reserved category must have passed Class 12 with 40%.
- The age limit is 30 years as of July 1, 2025.
CG PET 2025: Exam pattern
The CG PET 2025 exam will be conducted offline. The total time duration for the exam is 180 minutes. The paper will be divided into three sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics. The exam will only consist of multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark. There will be a total of 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark.
