
Students preparing for CBSE exams currently have a news worth noting. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class 12 English language exam which is scheduled to happen on Thursday (27 February 2020) to some other date.

English exam for Class XII (001-English Elective, 101-English Elective C and 301-English Core) which was supposed to be held at 73 centres in northeast and seven centres in east part of the national capital on Thursday has been postponed.

CBSE exam on 27 Feb postponed
That’s not all, even, exams that were to be conducted on Wednesday (26 February) were also postponed. A press release from CBSE said Class X exam in English Communicative (101), English Language and Literature (184) and Class XII exam in Web Application (Old-796), Web Application (New-803) and Media (821) scheduled to have taken place on 26 February did not take place on that date.
The decision to postpone CBSE exam on both dates is said to have been taken keeping in view the request that has come from Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi. The exam postponement decision was taken also taking into consideration the violent events in New Delhi. This was done also to ensure students, parents do not experience any kind of inconvenience.
Sources from CBSE said students who had to face postponement of exams will be informed soon about the new date on which the postponed exams will be conducted. Meanwhile, the students and parents can click the official website of CBSE ‘www.cbse.nic.in’ to know about the centres where the exams have been postponed.
