The dates
Class 10
As per the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 schedule, board exams for 10th class would begin on 15 February 2023 with subjects – Painting, Rai, Gurung, Tamang and Sherpa.
The timings for the board exams are 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The last day for the class 10 exam is 13 March 2024 and subjects on that day are Computer Applications, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence.
Class 12
As per the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 schedule, board exams for 12th class would also begin on 15 February 2023 with subjects – Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital Market Operation and Physical Activity Trainer.
The timings for few subjects are 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while exams for certain other subjects will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM during the exam days.

Board exams will conclude on 2 April 2024 with subjects – Informatics Practices, Computer Science and Information Technology. As the schedule of CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 are available, students can start preparing for the exams.

Students can choose either one of the above mentioned URLs in their browser and then submit them to access the websites.

Registration
Application submission for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 is likely to commence in December 2023. Registrations are expected to start shortly after the release of exam schedule.
Candidates can apply for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 through their educational institutions, while the private candidates can apply directly through the official website for board exams.
The numbers
A total of 21,84,117 students registered for class 10 exams in 2023. Over 21,65,805 students appeared for the exams and 20,16,779 cleared the exam.
Pass percentage class 10 board exams in 2023 stood at 93.12. A total of 16,80,256 students applied for class 12 board exams in CBSE stream in 2023.
About 16,60,511 students appeared for the exams and 14,50,174 passed the class 12 exams in the CBSE stream in 2023, the pass percentage was 87.33.
The registration for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 is also expected to be similar to the one recorded in 2023. As the time moves ahead, a clear picture will be out.
After the exams
Results in connection with CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 will be likely declared in May next year. The same for 2023 board exams were released in the month of May.
Sources say, the results for board exams 2024 in CBSE stream can be declared by first or second week of May 2024. In case of delay, CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 results could be out in last week of May or first week of June 2024.
