Based on the 2011 census, the Bonda tribe, an Indian tribal group, boasts only 36.61% literacy rate. Growing up in harsh surroundings meant facing several difficulties for Muduli. Growing up in a hamlet with poor road access and healthcare, he was motivated early on to seek a medical degree. “I have seen the struggles people in my neighbourhood have trying to obtain healthcare facilities.

Many individuals opted to consult a sorcerer in such circumstances. “I wanted to change things,” Muduli stated. Though Muduli dreamed of studying medicine, he first did not know he had to pass a tough admission exam. He was sure that learning science in higher secondary education would be sufficient.
